Hi everyone! Daniel here, I'm from Italy and I'm also the author of this blog.
I'm a master's degree student in Milan, For many years I've been passionate about science in general, from pure mathematics to physics and biology. In the last couple of years I start studying biotechnology at the university and since I'm always trying to learn more about biochemistry, the theory of evolution, innovations in food and feed production, and, in general, more about the chemistry of life.

What I want to do here is blogging about everything I like about the subject, I want to make science fun and easy to understand, even if in some cases it could be challenging. I don't know now which are the projects that I will follow in the future, but the blog is a way to learn more about the subject, science communication, and also exercise my English (that is not my original language).
It would be great to create different series about the basics of biochemistry and science, and another one that looks at the continuous progress in the field.

I wish to create a nice environment for discussion, always open to curiosity and questions without the fear of not knowing the answer.  Everyone is welcome here
I will try to create the majority of illustrations and animations that you will see here, otherwise, the work of others will be referenced at the bottom of each post, as well as the references and some additional material. I want the subject to be accessible, so I will focus on open source and free papers and articles, as much as possible.

Enjoy science in all of its forms! Please feel free to give me feedback under each post, or to contact me directly for any question.
